Khun Poosit is a Thai-qualified and licensed lawyer with more than 28 years of professional experience in corporate and commercial law. He joined PriceSanond in 2006 as a Senior Associate and became a Partner in 2019.  In 2003, he was appointed as a committee member of the Administrative Case Committee of the Lawyers Council of Thailand. He currently serves as a listed arbitrator of the Thai Arbitration Institute (TAI), Office of the Judiciary, and has extensive experience in arbitration and dispute resolution matters.

His practice includes advising Thai and multinational corporations on cross-border transactions, foreign direct investment, licensing, regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and dispute-related matters.  He has worked across a broad range of sectors, including banking, securities, logistics, transportation, pharmaceuticals, petrochemicals, consumer products, advertising and media, offshore training centres, and e-commerce. His practice also encompasses regulatory investigations, dispute resolution, claims handling, and matters involving Thai civil, commercial, employment, consumer protection, trade competition and criminal laws.

Khun Poosit has advised multinational corporate clients on a variety of corporate matters, including business formations, restructurings, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), as well as legal regulatory and compliance matters.  He has been involved as one of the key persons in several M&A transactions for both listed and non-listed companies in Thailand and other countries.  He used to work on structuring buyout of the local Thai partner of a reputable advertising and media listed joint venture company and the listing of a build-in furniture company on the Singapore Exchange (SGX).  He regularly assists clients with contract drafting matters and legal compliance issues and advises them on Thailand’s various laws on foreign direct investment (e.g., BOI, IEAT and FBA), industry, consumer protection and anti-monopoly, and trade.
