Following recent regulations issued under Thailand’s Criminal Procedures Code, Thai courts have new flexibility in sentencing for criminal cases.  As an alternative to imposing a prison sentence, Judges may in their discretion elect to restrict the travel and location of domicile of those convicted under Thailand’s criminal laws.
