Thailand does not have a monopoly on red tape, but it seems to have more than its fair share. Activities that may take a day or two in Hong Kong, Singapore or San Francisco, can take a week or two in Thailand, or longer. It now appears that the flood is prompting officials to at least consider measures to address this problem, the Bangkok Post reports.
